And if there are two things I’m certain about, I love coding and mountain hiking.
Odd duo?
Well, not necessarily.
It all started in 2023 when I've founded Media Vision Builders (MVB) to develop innovative B2B solutions for the healthcare sector.
But everyone says that, right? Innovation. Trust me, it’s not just hot air this time around.
I wanted to create a fluid, interconnected web development model where its parts informed and empowered each other and weren’t just Frankensteine’d into a shambling paycheck on release.
Quite an ambitious goal as it expected me to create a team where members don’t just specialize in one thing but can see a greater picture.
This made me think about mountain hiking, an environment where you must have fluidity and adaptability inside the team if you truly want to succeed. Should one person always be in charge, or should they constantly swap so the most capable person leads part of the way?
What I love about hiking, then, is that culture of holacracy. There is no bureaucratic red tape, no subordination mandates, no rigidity.
The climb is all there is.
